This is Episode 175 of Mike Finnegan’s Garage and it’s all about prepping for, and going to the Performance Racking Industry Show AKA PRI. Located in Indianapolis, Indiana, it’s about 10 hours from my spot in Georgia. It’s not a bad drive but before we could hit the road we had to rescue my ’67 Chevy C10 and bring it home from Paradise Dragstrip, where we left it a week ago when it broke down. We also have to replace the winch on my trailer, because the control it malfunctioned and Harbor Freight no longer sells the replacement parts to fix it. You can buy them on Amazon.com but we didn’t have time to wait for a new control box so we just bought a new winch. We’ll fix and install the old winch on something else later on.
We also needed to install new control arms onto the Cadillac to widen the track width so that the car looked better. That mod snowballed into extending the tie rod end adjusters, too. Anyway, we hit the road later that we wanted but we still made it to the show on time and the car looked cool inside of the Quick Performance booth. QP made the sick full floater rearend for the Caddy, too!
